Women's Health

 

Furnace and Inveraray Medical Practice will have a Women's Health Clinic which will run around once a month in each location (less often in Furnace).  This clinic is already up and running in Strachur.

Our Women's Health Clinic is open to all patients living in Argyll and Bute, not just patients registered at our practice. 

Our Women's Health Clinic is run by Dr Alison MacBeth who is a GP who works in Women's Health and an NHS Breast Clinic full time. 

 

In our clinic we can provide the following services: 

- Coils (insertion, checks, and removal) 

- Contraceptive implants and injections (insertion and removal) 

- Vaginal pessaries 

In addition we run a Menopause clinic, although due to funding issues this is only available to patients registered with the practice.
